At the age of ten, I left my Inner Mongolian heritage for Hong Kong, where I adapted to new cultures that shaped my identity; however, annual visits to my grandparents in Inner Mongolia reignited a connection to my ancestry, creating an internal conflict with the persona I had developed. This emotional journey of intersecting identities ultimately inspired this film project, which serves as a letter to myself.
