Yves Klein is best known for his signature Klein Blue, but I was particularly captivated by his Anthropometries series, in which he employs nude female figures as living brushes. Observing the footage of these women gliding across the canvas, I was struck how the imprints captured movement rather than mere form, fundamentally altering my perception of art as a finished product versus a dynamic process. As a former ballet dancer whose ten-year pursuit was cut short by injury, I felt inspired to reconnect with my passion by using my own body to express the movements of ballet routines, honing a new language of expression that honors my artistic journey and my ballet roots.
